 Campaign background: During
the 2004-2005 school year, the SLAP group at Simmons
College organized in support of campus workers who wanted
their hours changed. During the fall 2005 semester,
SLAP supported a worker getting backpay after a family
emergency. SLAP works with the Simmons janitors' union,
SEIU
615. Simmons' SLAP also works closely with the Boston-wide
SLAP group.
