Who is LWAC?

LWAC runs as a collective. All collective members participate in decision-making through conference calls and face-to-face meetings at the beginning and end of each semester. Members include both facilitators and national staff, all of whom are current student labor activists (or recent grads).

Currently, student activists trained to be LWAC facilitators come from student-worker solidarity campaigns at UCSD, UCSB, UTK, Wash U, and Georgetown. For each LWAC trip, usually two or three of these faciliators fly or drive out to the school to run workshops and public events.
